To kick off the "IDEAL" summer fun, the core team decided to go to Gigantes group of islands in Carles, Iloilo.
It was my first time to go there.I have apprehensions to go since I am really afraid of big waves. You have to endure a 2 hour pump boat ride to get to these islands from the jump off point in Estancia. The whole experience was really awesome. The unlimited scallops, the bonfire/drinking session with our new-found friends, the coffee session IN the sea, and the jaw dropping beauty of mother nature were all worth it.
It was a summer to remember.
